{"id":26,"date":"2023-09-18T21:08:32","date_gmt":"2023-09-19T02:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/judlau-addisoncreek.com\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2026-04-17T00:43:15","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T05:43:15","slug":"news","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/judlau-addisoncreek.com\/index.php\/news\/","title":{"rendered":"News"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Schedule Updates as of 04\/14\/2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 9 \u2013 Broadview from Cermak Road to 19<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Street<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Construction began mid-December 2023 and will continue through 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 8 \u2013 Westchester from Gardner Road to Roosevelt Road<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Construction began January 2024 and will continue through 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 7 \u2013 Westchester from Roosevelt Road to Wedgewood Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Excavation and gabion installation will be ongoing from June 2025 through April 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excavation and gabion installation to occur June 2025 through April 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoration to occur in 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 6 \u2013 Bellwood from Eastern Ave to Cernan Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Construction began mid-February 2024 and will continue through Spring 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lift Station Start-up to be finalized in April 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Channel improvements to commence upon existing utility relocation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoration and opening of Harrison and new roadway north of creek anticipated for Spring 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 5 \u2013 Bellwood South of St. Charles Road<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Pavement restoration on west side of creek will be done in Spring 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 4 \u2013 Bellwood North of St. Charles Road<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Construction to begin March of 2024 and will continue through 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoration work underway<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 3 \u2013 Melrose Park South of Lake Street near UPRR Proviso Facility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Construction began July of 2024 and will continue through  2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoration work underway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 2 \u2013 Stone Park between Mannheim Road and Lake Street<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Construction began March of 2024 and will continue through 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drilled shaft and retaining wall construction ongoing through 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excavation and gabion installation is completed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Reach 1 \u2013 Stone Park and Northlake between Mannheim Road and E Hirsch Street<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Construction to continue through winter 2026 and forecasted to be completed by June 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drilled shaft installation &amp;
